Information Stored Locally

The following information is stored exclusively on your device:

• Your name and profile photo (optional)
• Training sessions and scores
• Equipment configurations
• Location data (only if you enable location services)
• Weather conditions (retrieved via Apple Weather)

Legal Basis for Processing

Under GDPR Article 6, the legal basis for processing your data is:

• Consent: You explicitly consent to data processing when you enter information or enable features
• Legitimate Interest: Processing is necessary for the app's core functionality

Location Services

LittleHood uses location services to:

• Record the location of your training sessions
• Provide accurate weather data for your training location
• Display training locations on maps within the app

Third-Party Services

Apple Weather

LittleHood integrates with Apple Weather (WeatherKit) to provide weather conditions during your training sessions. When you use this feature:

• Your location is sent to Apple's servers to retrieve weather data
• Apple processes this request according to their Privacy Policy
• We do not have access to any data Apple collects
• Weather data is stored locally on your device

iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync:

• Your data syncs between your own devices using Apple's CloudKit
• Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
• Only you can access your iCloud data
• We have no access to your iCloud account or data

Data Storage and Security

Your data is protected through:

• iOS device encryption
• Secure iCloud encryption (if enabled)
• No external server communication
• Local-only data processing

Data Retention

Your data is retained:

• As long as the app is installed on your device
• In iCloud if sync is enabled (until you delete it)
• You can delete all data by removing the app

International Data Transfers

When using Apple Weather:

• Location data may be processed by Apple servers globally
• Apple ensures appropriate safeguards for international transfers
• All other data remains on your device or in your iCloud account

Children's Privacy

LittleHood is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect any information from children. The app functions the same for all users regardless of age.
